The IB968 is a factory-encoded passive card that does not include a battery.
It can be used in combination with any Cotag reader.
When it is used with a Cotag hands-free reader‚ the reading range is approximately 34 cm.
With Cotag proximity readers‚ the reading range with the IB968 varies between 3 and 11 cm.
One of the major advantages of Cotag technology is that active and passive cards can be mixed in the same system to provide ultimate convenience and cost-efficiency.
